Tower Biwal is the first in a series of exceptional bivalent heat exchangers, with two spiral coils, allowing for maximum utilization of power from multiple heat sources simultaneously. The wide range of capacities, from 200 to 1500 litres, makes it suitable for both single-family homes and large public buildings.

Renewable power source

Renewable solar energy is a source of free and clean heat available all year round. Used for heating, it allows for significant reduction in the costs of providing hot water for domestic use. The construction of the Tower Biwal heat exchanger enables maximum utilization of this clean energy. Heat obtained by solar collectors is transferred to domestic water through a spiral coil dedicated to solar collectors. Placing it in the lower part of the tank allowed ensuring the heat exchanger operates with the highest efficiency. The work of the lower coil can be supported by a coil placed above it, powered by a central heating boiler. This shortens the water heating time, especially with high demand for hot water for domestic use. An insulated electric heating set GE or a heater array on a flange, installed in the inspection opening, can also work in parallel.

Convenient installation

Concentrating all hydraulic connections at the back of the heat exchanger significantly facilitates installation while ensuring aesthetic appearance and convenient use of the installation. In the rear part, there are also sleeves enabling installation of a temperature sensor from the central heating boiler and a circulation pump. Its use allows for immediate water intake, which has a constant temperature, at any point of the installation. In the front part, at eye level, the heat exchanger has a readable thermometer facilitating installation supervision.

Proven insulation

A significant advantage of Tower Biwal bivalent heat exchangers is long temperature maintenance of water, which guarantees comfort of use and low operating costs. This is thanks to the use of a patented tank insulation system. Tower Biwal is offered in two types of efficient insulation: permanent - "hard" polyurethane foam or removable - Neodul insulation depending on the heater capacity.

Anti-corrosion protection

A guarantee of safe use of domestic hot water heat exchangers is ensuring the highest quality anti-corrosion protection. The EXTRA GLASS^® enamel used in Tower Biwal domestic hot water heat exchangers is ceramic enamel applied by the "wet" method, evenly  on the entire surface of the heat exchanger. Additionally supported by two magnesium anodes, it ensures hygienic use of the tank. Magnesium anodes can be replaced with an active titanium anode, which does not require replacement.

Active titanium anodes are selected depending on the heat exchanger capacity:

• Up to 300 litres – small titanium anode.
• For 400 and 500 litres – large single titanium anode.
• From 720 to 1000 litres – large double titanium anode.
• For 1500 litres – large double Maxi titanium anode.
