Tower Grand TOP 160 is a modern, compact domestic hot water cylinder for heat pumps, designed to save space while delivering maximum performance. With all hydraulic connections on the top head, the unit can be installed even in a tight recess or room corner—ideal for new builds and retrofits with lower heat demand.

Compact design – space savings and easy installation

• All hydraulic connections are located on the top cover; additionally: a sleeve for the heat‑pump temperature sensor and a tapping for a DHW circulation pump,
• Pipes can be routed from above, without occupying space around the cylinder,
• Installation possible directly against a wall or in a corner.

This solution greatly simplifies the installer’s work and saves floor space for the user.

High‑performance spiral coil – fast water heating

The cylinder features an enlarged 2 m² spiral coil running the full height of the unit, which ensures:

• faster hot‑water heating,
• maximum heat‑exchange efficiency.

Tower Grand TOP can also be powered by an electric immersion heater installed with the GE electric kit on a 6/4" boss on the cylinder front.

Tower Grand TOP 160 is an optimal choice for households of 3–4 people. It works perfectly with both on/off and inverter heat pumps rated around 6–10 kW. In configurations with Galmet heat pumps Prima and Prima Split 6, 8, 10GT, it forms an ideal set—available in a base version or with Smart Home Sinum Lite intelligent control.

Safety and durability

Long‑term durability is ensured by premium EXTRA GLASS^® ceramic enamel, applied “wet” and fired at 850°C to create a smooth, hard protective coating inside the tank. Standard protection is complemented by a magnesium anode or—optionally—a maintenance‑free active titanium anode. Additional protection is provided by the DIELECTRIC PROTECTION^® system on the connections.

A thick layer of rigid polyurethane‑foam insulation minimizes heat losses, maintains temperature for longer and reduces operating costs. The insulation is covered by a durable PVC jacket for added durability and a clean appearance.
