Product Description
Detailed information about the product features and specifications
The Complete combined tank for heat pumps is a synthesis of the best features of Galmet heaters. A complete solution that combines a DHW cylinder and a heating buffer in one device is the ideal solution for buildings with air‑to‑water heat pumps. Its compact design saves space and significantly simplifies the installation itself.
Complete means complete
The Complete tank is a “two‑in‑one” solution. In one sleek and neat jacket, two separate tanks are integrated – an enamelled domestic hot water cylinder of 250 l and a central heating buffer of 110 l. The compact construction gives installers exceptionally convenient connection and placement, and residents excellent user comfort and space savings in the boiler room. The buffer is located in the lower part of the device, and above it the domestic hot‑water tank. In addition to space savings, a great advantage of this solution is the ability for the two heating circuits to function completely independently. DHW preparation is not dependent on the temperature of the heating water. The two tanks in one device operate independently and supply two circuits: DHW heating and building heating/cooling.
The twin‑tank design works perfectly with air‑source heat pumps, e.g. Airmax2. The Complete 250/110 domestic hot‑water cylinder capacity is ideally matched to heat pumps of approx. 6–10 kW.
Complete means efficient heating
The DHW heat exchanger mounted in the upper part of the Complete tank ensures optimal use of the heat pump power and fast preparation of hot water. Exceptionally good heating parameters are achieved thanks to the use of a large‑surface coil. The enlarged coil in the DHW tank has an area of as much as 2.9 m2 for the 250‑liter tank. The buffer tank has a capacity of 110 l and is made of durable carbon steel.
Energy‑efficient and optimally functioning design ensures major savings and more effective maintenance of a stable water temperature in both independent circuits powered by a heat pump. Using this tank in a heating system guarantees high comfort of space heating and DHW and a significant reduction in investment costs. Choosing the Complete tank is also associated with a significant simplification of the installation, which positively affects its cost and durability.
Complete means proven insulation
The most efficient DHW operation, in addition to an excellent coil, is due to appropriate tank insulation. A thick layer of rigid polyurethane‑foam insulation provides enhanced protection and thus long heat retention and low operating costs. Additionally, heat losses are reduced by the outer jacket installed over the insulation, made of PVC/skai foil.
Complete means safe operation
Safe operation of the DHW cylinders in the Complete tanks is ensured by the highest‑quality anti‑corrosion protection. The EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel used in Galmet heaters forms a smooth and durable protective barrier inside the DHW cylinders. It is applied “wet”, evenly over the entire surface, and fired at high temperature, which ensures exceptional durability. Its action is complemented by a standard magnesium anode. An optional titanium anode can also be used, which requires no servicing. Additional protection of the DHW tank is provided by DIELECTRIC PROTECTION® of the tank connections.
Complete means hybrid
Complete tanks are another element expanding Galmet’s portfolio of devices using renewable energy sources. In combination with the wide range of air‑source heat pumps, they are an ideal element of ecological Hybrid Heating Systems. It is a proven way to a “bill‑free home”.
