Increasing the active area by 32% made it possible to create a flat‑plate collector with a unique area of 2.7 m². This translated into an exceptionally large active absorber area. The KSG 27 Premium GT collector is, above all, the top quality guaranteed by Galmet. It is ensured by Solar Keymark certificates held by Galmet‑manufactured collectors. These certificates confirm the highest European quality at every stage of production.

Premium means copper

Combining a copper absorber with a double harp made of copper tubes created a configuration that provides an exceptionally large active area. Ultrasonically welded elements ensure high thermal conductivity and optimal use of the increased absorber area. Using, for the harp, the largest configuration in European collectors—16 copper tubes—increased fluid capacity by 31%. To minimize heat losses from the absorber, the system has been protected with top‑quality solar mineral wool.

Premium means high parameters

Each flat‑plate collector from Galmet is protected by top‑quality tempered prismatic glass. Applying an anti‑reflective coating in production has achieved a transmittance coefficient of up to 96%. The high durability of Galmet collector glass is also confirmed by certification of hail resistance.

Premium means advanced technology

KSG solar collectors are manufactured on one of the most advanced production lines in Europe. Its creation is the result of cooperation between Galmet engineers and scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. After years of testing and trials, a product with optimal parameters was developed, meeting the highest European standards. A double‑walled aluminium profile with exceptional insulation and strength properties has been patented. Using a profile bent from a single element has significantly stiffened the collector and increased its strength.

Premium means easy installation

The advanced construction of the collectors has enabled a simplified installation method. The flat‑plate collector is connected to the system using two connection ports, and to the next collector with just one port.
KSG Premium GT solar collectors are offered with mounting kits: directly on a pitched roof or on a rack, and on a flat roof.

For each KSG collector, Galmet offers complete additional equipment, which includes:

• Pump group containing efficient, electronic circulation pumps.
• Expansion vessel with a capacity from 18 to 50 litres.
• STDC control module; MTDC controller or Smart GT Sol with colour display available at extra charge.
• Collector‑to‑system connection kit.
• Glycol dedicated to copper collectors – 20 litres.

• Bivalent heat exchangers with capacities from 200 to 500 litres
