Product Description
Detailed information about the product features and specifications
The highest efficiency in Europe
Unique technological solutions made it possible to create a flat‑plate collector with an optical efficiency of 82.9%. KSG 21 collectors have thus achieved the highest efficiency among collectors with a double‑harp layout in Europe. The quality of their components, workmanship, and best‑in‑class parameters is confirmed by the Solar Keymark certificate. It guarantees that Galmet collectors meet the requirements of the currently applicable European standards.
KSG collectors by Galmet are the optimal foundation for building ecological domestic hot water heating systems for residential buildings, industrial facilities, hotels and schools, as well as public buildings.
Durable connections
A major factor ensuring that the KSG flat‑plate collector achieves top parameters is the use of robust connections. A high‑quality, automatically performed ultrasonic weld is responsible for the durable connection of the harp and the aluminium absorber. The 12 aluminium tubes forming the harp adhere closely to the absorber, providing high conductivity. For optimal utilization, the absorber is coated with a highly selective layer, and its surface is protected by tempered prismatic glass. From below, the absorber is protected against heat losses by high‑quality solar mineral wool.
Advanced technology
The durability of the solar collector construction is also determined by a properly designed and manufactured casing. The profile of collectors manufactured by Galmet is the result of cooperation between the company’s engineers and scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. As a result, a double‑walled aluminium profile was patented. Produced from a single, properly bent element, the profile guarantees top‑tier insulation and reinforcement of the collector.
Simplified installation
The advanced design of the collectors enabled a simplified installation method. The flat‑plate collector is connected to the system using two connection ports, and to the next collector with just one port.
KSG 21 GT solar collectors are offered with mounting kits: directly on a pitched roof or on a rack, and on a flat roof.
KSG means comprehensive
For each KSG collector, Galmet offers complete additional equipment, which includes:
- Pump group containing efficient, electronic circulation pumps.
- Expansion vessel with a capacity from 18 to 50 litres.
- STDC control module; MTDC controller or Smart GT Sol with colour display available at extra charge.
- Collector‑to‑system connection kit.
- Glycol dedicated to aluminium collectors – 20 litres.
and components of the solar set, including:
- Bivalent heat exchangers with capacities from 200 to 500 litres.
- Heat exchangers with heat pump.
Collectors are connected to the system using stainless‑steel pipes and chromed connection kits. The heat transfer fluid should be propylene glycol intended for aluminium collectors.
Economy and warranty
Using Galmet solar collectors for domestic hot water heating saves up to 60% of energy costs. High‑quality materials and proven production technology have made it possible to provide a 10‑year warranty on collector efficiency.
