Energy class A+ in Class 5 cleanliness

Galmet’s R&D department has thoroughly refined the design of the entire range of this model in outputs of 10, 15, 20, 25, 34, 62 kW, ensuring that all units belong to the high energy class A+ (since April 2017 all boilers must have an energy label) and meet the requirements of the highest 5th class of emission cleanliness. In addition, they meet the requirements for funding under the “Clean Air” program.

Efficiency and savings

The design features of this boiler and the technologies used provide users with very significant savings compared to standard devices previously available on the market. The hybrid fuel feeder installed in the Genesis Plus boiler is equipped with an integrated electric motor that drives both the burner screw and the fan at the same time, which has reduced the amount of electrical energy consumed by the device.
The burner is equipped with an automatic igniter, thanks to which the boiler can switch itself off after heating the space and, if necessary, automatically ignite again. This has a significant effect on reducing the amount of fuel used, especially in summer when the boiler is used for DHW preparation. After heating the water in the tank, the boiler switches off and will switch on again only when there is a need to reheat DHW (a typical boiler with a feeder operates continuously—in idle mode—still consuming fuel). Thanks to the applied automation, fuel and air are dosed very precisely, which translates into low fuel consumption.
The user also has the option to set their own hourly schedule for individual days of the week, according to which the boiler will operate—another element that improves the efficiency of the heating system.

Modern and convenient

The Genesis Plus is fitted with two types of controllers—either with a monochrome display and knob, or a touch controller with a colour LCD panel. They can modulate the output generated by the boiler depending on heat demand (Fuzzy Logic algorithm), so it is precisely matched to the current heat draw of the system.
An innovative fuel feeder solution that supplies the boiler as needed ensures stable indoor temperature, significantly improving thermal comfort (in typical boilers, failing to refill fuel in time causes indoor temperature fluctuations).
The fuel hopper is large—it has a capacity of 180 or 350 l (depending on boiler output), so there is no need to check the device every few hours like with a typical boiler. It is enough to refill the hopper every few days.

Clean operation

The problem that plagued users of older‑type boilers—manual ignition—has completely disappeared with Genesis Plus. Thanks to the modern igniter, this process runs automatically, without user intervention. The inconvenience of post‑combustion waste has also been minimized— with pellets, the amount of ash is negligible (only a few kilograms of ash are produced from 1 tonne of fuel). The user comfort of a modern pellet boiler is incomparably higher than that of older devices also because a boiler room equipped with Genesis Plus stays clean throughout its operation. You will certainly not see sooty walls or dust typical of boiler rooms with coal boilers.

Functionality and flexibility of applications

Genesis Plus offers the possibility of connecting it to advanced systems—the boiler controller can directly control three circulation pumps and one mixing‑valve actuator. With additional modules, the control functionality can be expanded to include buffer handling, additional mixing‑valve actuators, further circulation pumps, a lambda sensor, or an additional fuel feeder.
The available internet module gives users the ability to remotely start, stop, and edit all boiler parameters. It also provides access to the boiler’s operating history in the form of clear graphs for individual parameters and tables listing any potential operating faults.
Using a touch colour room panel not only allows you to precisely regulate room temperature but also to obtain additional information from the boiler controller, e.g., data on the amount of fuel in the hopper, the current boiler temperature, or the DHW tank temperature.
Hybrid burners used in Genesis Plus boilers with automatic cleaning are equipped with an innovative moving grate. This solution significantly improves pellet combustion. Combined with the automatic igniter and large hopper, it enables unattended boiler operation for a long time.

Safety

The use of two separate fuel feeders in Genesis Plus—one in the hopper and one in the burner—radically reduces the possibility of flame travelling from the burner to the hopper. In addition, the pipe connecting the hopper to the burner is made of a resistant, non‑combustible material.

Durability

All Genesis Plus boilers in the 10, 15, 20, 25, 34, 62 kW range are made of certified boiler plate P265GH, which is far more resistant to pressure, temperature and corrosion than ordinary steel.
